1.Cleopatra’s bath of milk and honey.


Cleopatra used to mix milk of a young donkey with fresh honey and almond oil. You, too, can feel like the Queen of the Nile. Just add some whole milk or milk powder and some honey to your bathwater. Also, try using goat's milk, as it is the only milk that contains capric-capryllic triglyceride which helps to moisturize and soften.

2.Body scrub of beauty Queen

 

Sea salts, especially those from the Dead Sea were also prized by Egyptians. A prescription for a body scrub found in medical papyri is as follows:

  • 1 part honey
  • 1 part natron (use baking soda)
  • 1 part Lower Egyptian salt (use bath salts or Dead Sea salts)

Grind to a paste and rub into the body.

Scrub your body with this paste and let it sit for a few minutes as you relax and enjoy before rinsing clean.

This scrub will gently exfoliate your skin and make your body feel smooth and soft.

3. Hot Oil Treatment For Dry Hair

 

Cleopatra used coconut oil and massaged it on the scalp. A crushed lettuce would be placed on her hair or scalp would be massaged with almond oil and cedar wood oil and fats.
Mix:

  • 2 table spoons of olive oil
  • 2 table spoons of castor oil

Warm the oils up over low heat and massage them into your scalp, spreading on the length of your hair. Put on your shower cup and then – towel, wait for 1 hour. Then wash and condition your hair, as usual. Your hair will look shiny and silky. Oil treatments have significant effect when done regularly.

4. Hydrating and moisturizing mask of Cleopatra

 

The secret to her Bright, glowing, skin like baby was that she used honey as facial mask

  • Mix 2 table spoons of unflavored thick cream with 1 table spoon of liquid honey and apply it on your face and neck for about 10 minutes. And you will easily and quickly turn dry and dehydrated skin into a peach.

5. Rose water for the queen

 

Cleopatra used it to remove the dark marks. Rose water makes your dark marks and acne disappear. Try it and you will be amazed by the result. Rose water will make your skin soft and smooth, naturally hydrating and nourishing it. You can also spray rose water on your face during the day in the summer time, to refresh your skin and keep it supple. Rose water can be used on the face instead of makeup primer, then, your foundation will glide on your skin very smoothly and easily; wonderful odor is an amazing bonus!
